THAI Technical Department's new US$ 120 million facility at U-Tapao, 125 km. southeast of Bangkok, adds 240,000 square metres and three bays to the 170,000 square metres and six bays already at our main base facility at Bangkok International Airport.
The new location gives us more room to work, state-of-the-art equipment, unlimited aircraft parking space, and more potential for future expansion. A modernized automated docking system utilizing a "tail-in" configuration, and workshops adjacent to the aircraft bays, provide faster, safer service.
